Playa Bengi
|
|
Playa Bengi is under construction as of February 2001. The park personnel are working hard to provide a good road and beach area for your enjoyment. The beach should be open to visitors by the Summer of 2001.
Directions: See the Boca Bartol North site for Washington Park entrance directions.

03/02/2005 Anonymous (Avg: 3.46 Review) - If you scout out the beach before you approach you won't have to hand your gear down a cliff!! We walked a little to the left and just had to scoot down a small sand dune with our gear. (Well, it wasn't a huge cliff by any means. )
02/24/2003 Claus marc (Avg: 2.27 Review) - The entry is one of the most difficult due to the rocky bottom and the waves which will roll over you when you want to get in or out. Reef was not the best of the island, neither the quantity of fish although it is on top of the island.

You can tell the reef is an easy swim just off the beach.

The entry is sand and coral, and, due to the small cove, is usually well-protected. Watch the currents, however!
