This is a high boat traffic area so stay low. It's almost right in the center of downtown along the main road. Swim over a sand channel to the reef. The best part of this dive (IMHO) is in the shallows. Also, fish like to hang out under the boats of the marine park moorings. You can reference Susan Porter's very useful book, "Bonaire Shore Diving Made Easy." That's how we found it.
This is an unmarked site on Bonaire and doesn't have a yellow rock in front of it but instead, it's landmark is the dive shop of the same name. Just park along the street by the dive shop and walk in the water down the small slippery boat ramp. It's also a great snorkel!

08/22/2012 Willis Chung (Avg: 3.20 Review) - The best thing about this site is the ease of entry. You park across the street from the marina, and walk off the boat ramp right into the water, with coral rubble and sand at the bottom. There is a mild amount of trash in the marina area, a few tires, a few marine engines, but not too bad. The fish hanging out by the disused pier are fun to look at and swim through. The swim out to the reef is quite short, but as has been mentioned, it should be done underwater to avoid unpleasant interactions with boats. However, the reef is clearly under stress. We went north from the entry site for 30 minutes, and the further north we went, the more brown algae was on the coral, and the fewer fish and other critters. Saw hardly any shrimp. A fine dive, if you are new to scuba and want to get used to being underwater in a more controlled, calm environment. There are much better spots otherwise.
01/15/2008 Jason NYC (Avg: 4.70 Review) - Park along the road and walk in! Easy entry. We spent most of our time here in the shallows with an octopus out and about in the middle of the day. If you want to head to the drop off then just swim a short distance over the sand to about 28 fsw and you will find the gently sloping wall just like most Bonaire dives. It's a nice little dive, not my favorite, but it's close to food and we had to visit the Yellow Submarine dive shop anyway because they found a friend's camera lens on the reef somewhere around Klein Bonaire. Kudos to them for finding it and saving it for her! Gotta love that small town feeling in Bonaire!!!
