North Belnem is located at the Southern end of Wind Sock.

Directions: Just South of the airport runway.

06/13/2004 Robert J. West (Avg: 4.05 Review) - We stayed at the Belafonte Chateau de la Mer, and did more dives from the deck / dock there than anywhere else during our stay on Bonaire in late May 2004. You can see the Belafonte building in the arial view photos just south of the beach. There's a scientific research grid laid out there that makes a dandy navigational reference, even on night dives. Over the course of our dives we saw basket stars (at night) 5 different species of morays, and the entry / exit from the deck / dock was a snap. there's some orange cup corals underneath the deck / dock too. never had any current to speak of.

10/15/2003 Marge Lawson (Avg: 3.96 Review) - Did this dive on a day when the surf was up, so the water wasn't as clear as most other dives we have done. Saw lots of orange elephant ear coral on this dive, plus several morays, a spotted drum juvenile, a barracuda, some French angels, etc.

10/25/2002 Lorraine Bayford (Avg: 3.18 Review) - Nice beach, good entry site. Reef not in the best shape but nice dive anyway.

09/09/2002 Jim Haggart (Avg: 3.85 Review) - Good easy site to start your trip and get back you legs while wearing your dive equipment.
