05/22/2006 Jason NYC (Avg: 4.70 Review) - This beach is located across from some pink colored salt ponds and is a very pretty, sandy beach that would be great for sunning. A longer swim across a sandy bottom to get to the drop off than at other sites slightly more north of here like Angel City. Easy entry, maybe the easiest all week and with decent viz but we did have a slight current here, nothing to worry about. Saw lots of the usual with the highlight being a spotted eagle ray. Yet another easy Bonaire shore dive!

04/25/2005 Steven Vollenga (Avg: 3.25 Review) - Good dive. First, on a sandy bottom, I saw a stingray. Reef is rich of fish. Saw a clam shell and played with some eight puffer fishes.

03/27/2005 Gary Harmon (Avg: 2.46 Review) - My wife and I did this snorkel as part of a group tour. The small bay was a little crowded, but there were more fish where the little channel came in. I did see a trumpet fish in the middle of a school of Atlantic blue tang. The trumpet fish had changed his color to blue to match. Very unusual. Love2snorkel

10/15/2003 Marge Lawson (Avg: 4.10 Review) - Saw more jolt head porgy's here than most other places. Garden eels at 106'. Lots of sponges, hard and soft corals.

07/10/2003 Bob Mallin (Avg: 4.57 Review) - Very easy entry and a long shelf that has a good deal of fish activity before you get a healthy reef with a lot of fish and other life. This was our easiest dive, and one of the best.

10/25/2002 Lorraine Bayford (Avg: 3.29 Review) - Good dive, very enjoyable but not as may fish at other sites. Vis was good. Lots of healthy corals. Lot of other divers at this site.

09/30/2002 John Kurre (Avg: 4.56 Review) - Nice beach next to road. Light pink sand made up of the white and red coral in shallows near the beach. Easy, short swim out to reef. There are two reefs running parallel to the beach. One starts about 40' down and goes to about 100' then there is a sandy valley bottom between reefs. 30' swim over and a second reef running parallel to first reef and starting at about 60' at top of reef and going down to well below 130' diving limit. Lots to see including healthy reef, plant life and tropical fish. Good visibility 100' or so and little or no current. Easy navigation, just swim along the reef and return to where you started to swim back to shore. Lots to see in shallows on swim out and back.

07/24/2001 Fiona Rattray (Avg: 4.71 Review) - Pre-Lenny. Pink beach was still there. There were lots of sea fans and soft corals...an easy, enjoyable dive.

07/22/2001 Pointoflightphoto.com (Avg: 3.91 Review) - The shallow's got wiped out by the wave's from the hurricane. This made the long ( by Bonaire standards) surface swim more enjoyable. This dive can have almost no current, or a fairly strong current. Plan for a possible drift dive. Below 30' the reef shows no sign of damage.
