Sargeant Bay
Sargeant Bay Provincial Park is a nice area for picnicking and easy diving. The shallow dive allows plenty of time for exploration, and the park offers a great place to relax between tanks.
Directions: About 7km North of Schelt on 101 make a left on Redrooffs Road, you'll see the park entrance sign below.

08/29/2003 Kevin Hogan (Avg: 4.42 Review) - Parking at this site is close to the water but the rock you want to dive around is about 500 yards down the beach (look at the picture of the beach, you'll see what I mean). Beautiful park though, and access to the beach is easy. There was hardly anyone there on the weekday I was there. Saw a nice variety of marine life and the rock featured many nooks and crannies to explore. If you're into that sort of thing, the provincial park itself also features 30 acres of land including an extensive marsh and meadowland area that is a bird sanctuary.
