Snorkeling and Scuba Diving at Telegraph Cove

Telegraph Cove is a nice protected area to get your fins wet. Parking is limited, but the dive is worthwhile. From the Copper Cove dive site turn-off on Marine Drive, continue heading down Marine Drive past the entrance to Whyte Cliff Park. Turn left on Cliff Road, and continue to the trail head below.

Telegraph cove is a pretty good place to spend a morning. Take your time getting your gear down to the shore, and find an out of the way place to park. Please be quiet because if I lived here, I would get annoyed by having a lot of loud strangers partying there everyday. Show them how courteous divers can really be. Another thing, be careful of currents here. I went out toward the mouth of the cove and felt a definite current that I'm sure would have gotten stronger had I continued out. Other than that, it was a good dive for when you have lots of time just to be lazy!
