| Mahahual is a beautiful little fishing village almost to the farthest reach of the Yucatan. I love this town except for the 'backwards' diving. You CANNOT find anywhere to rent tanks to do shore diving at your leisure! This is not for lack of dive operations. None of the dive operators will rent tanks, they only want to do boat dives. I find this quite sad, because this is one of my favorite places in Mexico to visit, however I love diving and this is definitely a factor on me returning :( | |||
