Dawn Beach

A few hundred yards from shore is where a lot of dive and snorkel boats bring cruise passengers.  There is a sunken boat and a fair number of fish at this site.  While not nearly as good as isle Pinnel for snorkeling, the water is calm, the facilities are very good, and it is easy to get to Divi resort from the cruise ships.  There is little corral or vegetation.  The main draw is the nondescript ship wreck and the fish that are regularly fed by snorkelers.  Rock formations are interesting, but again the reef at Pinnel is much better.  However, Divi is an easy fun place to go to for non-snorkelers in the group.

Divi is a beach resort near where the boats dock at Phillipsburg.  Divi is located at little bay.  I took a taxi from the boat to Divi Resort for $4.00/person.

Best place we snorkeled on St Martin.  Took a shuttle boat to the Island for $5 round trip and then just walked right in.  Some good fish. Love2snorkel
