Approximately 100 miles north Sharm and Nuweiba somewhat more North. No one runs boats there as all dives are shore dives !!

10/13/2003 Tom Steiner (Avg: 3.88 Review) - So I will give you following important information: Dahab is a great place for diving! Important you need to know where to dive and with which dive center. Today in Dahab there are 64 (fall 2003) dive centers!!! I have visited 28 of them, and more then half are "no comments" so if you really want a serious diving school I will be glad to e-mail you the different schools serious and reliable that will give you service and good diving. Life in Dahab is very "easy going" and you can stay there for pretty cheap. So if you travel to the famous "blue Hole" remember following: never over estimate yourself, it's a very risky dive...Take care
07/20/2003 Uli Egert (Avg: 3.85 Review) - Through the years, more than 30 dive shops have started in Dahab. Dahab features many shore dive spots, ranging from very easy to advanced steep wall drop offs. Lots of deep diving locations. All are good coral and fish, not plants, essentially. 2 night dive spots, essentially. The Bells and the Wall there are still my favorite shore dive. The Canyon has deteriorated considerably due to overuse.
