I am quite surprised that people don't dive here more… It is a scuba training site which I used a lot for open water classes and it is ideal for teaching a rescue class. Most of the training dives I did there lasted 45 min to 1 hour and we had a great dive. I have some very good pictures of the life on the bottom. There are usually octopus, stone fish, farmer fish, eel and other life living in the outcroppings of coral. They are predictable and are in the same place for every dive. Granted, there is not a lot, but some of my best pictures have come from here. Night diving is not an option - the port is closed at night and no diving after 5pm is allowed. Of course, if you dove Gun on a bad day and didn't see anything, you would give it a bad review. My advice - dive it with someone who knows the site…
