03/16/2008 Debra Everhart (Avg: 3.05 Review) - I was there in June 2007. We had a little trouble finding it because it is not particularly well marked. We were tent camping and the sites were pretty nice. There was water and electric at several of them also. The quarry has all kinds of things for divers to look at. There's an airplane with a skeleton in the cockpit, tractor trailer, cars, trucks, boats quarry equipment etc. In June the air temp was about 80 degrees. Water temp was about 75 degrees and there was a definite thermocline at 15 feet at which time the temp dropped to about 65 degrees. And there were other thermoclines also. It was a nice area. Nice little dive shop on the premises and the people that were running it were also very nice.

08/18/2004 Tom Mullins (Avg: 2.71 Review) - Directions on web site are excellent. The quarry is a first rate operation ran by great folks, with a deep-entry end and a shallow-end with a drop-off. Average depth is 50-60 ft. Several boats, cars, etc are spread around the bottom, as well as a swim-thru semi-trailer downward-sloped from about 10-40 Ft. NITROX available. The bigger pieces of quarry equipment are just beneath the surface at the shallow end. A public swimming beach/recreational area is also available, as are excellent restrooms, changing areas, etc.
