06/15/2004 Bluefish (Avg: 3.08 Review) - Pearl Lake is an old gravel pit, now a thirty acre lake. Several dive platforms for training. The owners have worked hard to make a fun place for Midwest diving. There are several boats, airplane, submarine, panel van to explore. Average depth is 35 feet, deepest is 85 feet, most of the training platforms are at about 20 feet. Viz ranges from 20 feet down to 5 feet when the students get everything stirred up. There is a fill station and minimal gear rental. There is a nice supper club and bar for apres dive dining and drinking. Camping is available near, but not at the dive sites.
