02/10/2004 Greg Ohl (Avg: 3.14 Review) - First of all, this is the Cuyuna Range, not the Mesabi (That's in Hibbing, MN). Very primitive conditions abound. Dirt roads that are not maintained. Can have major hassles with dirt bike losers that can't behave themselves. Overall diving is great for Minnesota. Best pits are Louise, Mangan, Hopkins. Cold water, good visibility, neat mining structures, full grown trees, lots of game fish. Check at dive store in Brainerd for details and map.
