| South Casa is a great place for snorkeling. As a spearo, I like its proximity to both giant kelp and the marine reserve just to the north. The visibilty, as with most of La Jolla, is usually just poor to fair. When the vis is good, it makes up for the bad days. Last time I was there I saw sargo, opaleye, garibaldi, calico bass, california halibut, a dead seal, smelt, mackerel, barracuda, white sea bass, and about a million senoritas. |
