We dived this site in June of 2016. When we were there, the ramp was treacherously slippery but there was an easy sand entry 30' to the left of the ramp. Not many rocks to walk over but I imagine that changes with the seasons. The reef to the right side of the bay was good with good sea life and many turtles. The reef decreased in quality and eventually turned into a rubble pile as we swam farther out. I'm glad I did it once but probably wouldn't repeat the long walk to the shore.

This is a fantastic reef for macro life and smaller reef fish however you need to go to the 2nd reef. Just swim along the right side until the reef begins to curve north then the 2nd reef juts out from there. The viz. gets much better and the diversity increases greatly on the 2nd reef. We always see at least 7/8 nudibranchs, frogfish and have seen massive conger eels sleeping in the coral as well as other lesser seen species such as Triton's trumpet, 7-11 crabs, and small Kellog's scorpionfish. Swim slowly, look carefully among the coral and you'll be rewarded!

The road to the beach has been greatly improved by addition of a short concrete roadway. There are many places you should not enter/exit because the coral is too shallow. Find the large, faded yellow painted rock half way along the beach. There is a good slot for shore entry here. Another fun dive!
