My wife an I dived this site 6/04/11. Good conditions. An east wind brings the best viz which on this day was around 10'. No current to speak of. The first small reef just past the marker consists of rocks (depth about15') and produces lots of small teeth. The second reef of large blocks produces the bigger teeth but we didn't get out there on this trip. Nice fun dive. Facilities are great.

Dived the spring this past weekend. Fun little dive- easy entry, good facilities. Nice deep hole near the entry point that drops to around 75-80 feet depending on the river height. Couple of small caves at the bottom that are too narrow to penetrate. A warning though: there is a $15 per diver fee that is not posted on their website or mentioned on the state park website. Also there is sign prohibiting lights which is a shame since there's a neat, safe, cavern at the bottom of the spring.

Excellent dive site. Reef in better condition than I expected. Quite a few critters especially juveniles. Current can be a problem. Today it was running south to north and pretty strong. If you enter on the south side of the pier under these conditions, try to be as far south of the pier as you can and just drift back. There's a sign posted warning divers to stay 100 yards away from the pier and that's good advice as there's a lot of anglers. Parking costs 10 bucks around the pier but there's free parking away from the pier in public parking lots but you have to get there early or be lucky. Not a dive to pass up and should be high on your list if in the area. Deep Blue Divers is a nearby shop and they can tell you how the currents are running.
