Review Date AVG ShoreDiving Site 10/22/2008 2.90 Kahala Barge Oahu, Hawaiian IslandsI would have to say that this is an extreme shore dive. If you shore dive from the Kahala hotel or beach, it's a good .75 miles or more out. With currents and wind at a nearly constant full force here, this would be a tough dive to do from shore. As far as the wrecks there, five are scattered about and if you start from the most east wreck you can drift down and see all of them. However since this area is raped nightly by commercial fisherman there is hardly any life. |
