Review Date AVG ShoreDiving Site 12/04/2008 4.25 Place of Refuge The Big Island, Hawaiian IslandsGreat coral reef and healthy. Many tropical fish, saw a couple of eels. My wife was lucky enough to see a frog fish while snorkeling. One the best beach dives on the Big Island. 12/04/2008 3.72 Old Kona Airport beach The Big Island, Hawaiian IslandsSome good underwater topography. There is a nice arch just South of the beach. Lot's of reef fish with decent coral. Came across a tiger cowrie and a nice nudibrach. Don't expect much depth. It's a long way out to 40'. It was a very enjoyable dive with a nice beach for the non-divers. |
