Summer..poor. Other months, it's great, The tame 3 ft ling cod like to rub up against you. 10/17/2003 2.38 Octopus City Sunshine Coast, BC, CanadaAgain, I've done this site in both good & bad conditions. I feel that there are other sites close to Powell river that are much better. 10/17/2003 3.49 Dinner Rock Sunshine Coast, BC, CanadaI did not do the rock, but what we call the "Iron Mines" just a short ways from Dinner Rock. Great dive, pick your tides as the current will run. But an excellent cliff dive, huge sponge, caves. If you want a current dive in a relatively secure area., do it here! PS: the MV Gulf Stream is too deep for me. 160, no time. |
