Review Date AVG ShoreDiving Site 02/24/2004 2.82 North Side Cayman Islands, CaribbeanConstant grind from the overhead cruise ships, excess cruise ship crowds and the poor condition of the reef make this a low ranker from this shore diving queen. Nice swim-throughs were the only redeeming factor. 02/24/2004 4.18 Turtle Reef Cayman Islands, CaribbeanBest shore dive in Grand Cayman. Dive Tech folks are always super helpful with very accommodating facilities. Easy entry from a latter bolted to their dock. Short swim to the third buoy. Drop and start swimming north. Always see at least one turtle and spotted ray. There has occasionally been a hammerhead spotted. If you have enough air swim south of the buoy and you will run into a large school of tarpons. |
