Park by the hotel and walk through the grassy park to the beach. This will shorten your walk through the sand. Be prepared for a long swim out. If you swim out on your back you can enjoy the mountains in the background as you take your time to reach the dive area out by the point. Sea life was abundant here, with parrot fish, eels and what looked like sea snakes but I'm not sure about that. I'll have to pick up a book on that one. The water here was very clear with a wonderful aqua blue tint. Nice lava formations down below also. Even though the swim out was long, we headed back toward shore about 1/2 way through the dive and with the current helping we were washing up on the shore like a couple of beached whales at about 300psi...to the surprise of some of the beach go'ers I might add..hee..hee. Great dive with easy access and showers in the park to rinse your gear.

This is a must dive spot! There's a short walk down a dirt path to the small beach, this is very easy. The entry is full of rocks that you need to navigate through but shouldn't be any problem with low surf. Swim out along the right side of the cove and drop down at the end of the cove and you will be rewarded with some nice caverns to swim into. Great Photo ops here! Saw sea turtles, eels, lobster and other neat stuff! We also made this a night dive, another must do. The water was such a beautiful aqua blue in our dive lights! Sleeping fish, huge lobster and lots of little eye balls staring back at you in the darkness! Too cool! You can take the whole family to this spot. There's lots of stuff here for the non-diver and small kids too! So bring 2 or 3 tanks and make a day / night out of it.

This is a LONG walk with your gear from the parking area. There was lots of drift wood to wade through and people fishing off of the jetty. This made us swim almost out to the boat channel to avoid there lines. I do not recommend this site unless you just can't wait to get into the water (like us..hee..hee) and want a site close to your hotel. There are MUCH better places to dive on the island.
