Review Date AVG ShoreDiving Site 06/30/2011 2.59 Sasamat Lake Vancouver, BC, CanadaWe have been diving all week long at different sites: Porteau Cove, Whytcliff and Buntzen Lake, this by far was the most enjoyable dive. Vis was excellent, about 5 meters; compare that to a few feet in the ocean dives, we were really happy. Bottom of the lake is a bit weird. Whatever that stuff, black, silty slush, seems bottomless. This was an excellent place for us to practice how to deploy our SMB. Buoyancy control practice, absent were the strong ocean current messing us up. |
