Review Date AVG ShoreDiving Site 05/22/2001 4.05 Bari Reef Bonaire North, ABC IslandsWe stayed at the Sand Dollar Resort. This is a very good dive with plenty of fish life. My son had his first night dive here and met Charlie (the 5-6 foot resident tarpon). The dive is excellent to start your day with. Some damage to the reef can be found from Hurricane Mitch. Overall the reef is healthy with color and life. Plenty of Mories. 05/20/2001 3.48 Hilma Hooker Bonaire South, ABC IslandsA bit of a kick to get to the bouy markers. Rodales magazine nailed it. A must do again dive. Big Tarpon kept us company throughout the entire dive. My son's first deep dive and big wreck dive. 05/20/2001 3.85 Alice In Wonderland Bonaire South, ABC IslandsA beautiful dive with an abundance of life. The colors were stunning. Plenty of micro life with lots of action from the bigger species. The name of the site really says it all. |
