Snorkeling and Scuba Diving at Kayak Point County Park
Kayak Point is a great site for a lazy dive! Bring the family, a picnic lunch and plan to spend the day. The drive to the park is worth the effort, and will allow you to explore parts of the coast line that you normally would never see!
About 25 miles North of Seattle, you'll take exit 199 in Marysville, and head West toward the Sound. After 10 or so miles of winding through quintessential NW scenery, you'll see the park entrance on your left.

Really Boring. Site out the West side of the park North of the pier gets to 50' with in 300 yards of shore. Nothing to see but a few snails and small crabs. A few large star fish lots of large clams. The clam beds to the south (small bay) are really shallow and the vis was terrible. The easy access doesn't make up for the lack of anything to see. Park currently charges $5.00 for parking.
