| We snorkeled this area early January. This is a white sandy beach entry. Previous mentions of a rocky beach I believe refer to Catalina Cove. Though the bottom is sandy here at Boca Catalina, we were amazed at the number of fish. The best bet is to enter the water here at Boca Catalina and then swim northward towards Catalina Cove. The entry at Catalina Cove is extremely difficult with the shallow water and number of rocks. | |||
