Snorkeling and Scuba Diving at Puerto Chiquito

Puerto Chiquito is a small, quiet entry point, with protected shallows for the kids, and an impressive drop off for the diver. A 100m South of the Southern 1A 4A intersection, turn West for 300m. Then turn left for 1km passing over the Spanish Lagoon. Turn right and wind your way for about 1.5 km. The entrance looks like a small dirt driveway.

Very nice sloping reef was the closest thing to a Bonaire shore dive I found on Aruba. This site is a little hard to find and has a rocky entry. The reef slopes and so you can dive this site 20' to 100'. We dove it twice and the current (mild to moderate) was going different directions. The visibility was in 70' range and water was a toasty 82 degf in the middle of December. We stayed in the 50' to 60' range and saw an abundance of fish, creatures and corals.
