| WARNING! Armed Robbery on this beach! My wife and I were spending the day at this beach snorkeling and laying in the sun. We were the only ones on this beach. About noon another car pulled up and a single man got out with snorkeling gear. Suddenly another man, that looked to be a local, came out of the bushes, pulled out a gun and held it to the head of the other man. The gunman took the other man's cash, credit cards, and car keys and then ran off to a waiting car and was gone. We took the robbery victim to the local police station. The police old us that this was happening more and more all the time, and the less populated beaches were not safe anymore. For your own safety avoid this beach. | |||
